Approximately a 4-5 hour comprehensive course designed to fulfill the certification needs of a wide variety of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, technicians, EMTs, CNAs and others. Topics include: CPR techniques for patients age newborn through adult; AED use for patients of all ages; two rescuer CPR/AED use; rescue breathing with pocket mask and BVM system, with and without advanced airway; choking relief for all ages. (This course may also be taken by members of the general public.) Upon successful course completion, with a passing score on the written exam, students receive a certification card valid for two years.
