Approximately a 3 hour comprehensive course designed to teach members of the general public correct CPR techniques for use on adults and children. The course also covers use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) as an important part of the CPR sequence for adults and children. Students learn how to relieve choking in a responsive or unresponsive adult or child and how to use a barrier device to prevent contamination during rescue breathing. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certification card valid for two years. (for groups only)
