Approximately a 16 hour course to re-certify the First Responder. The course reviews material covered in the initial certification class and subsequent updates. Students receive a current textbook and must demonstrate practical and written proficiency in all areas of the initial training. To recertify, students must present proof of current First Responder certification within six months expiration. as well as current CPR/AED certification for healthcare professionals.
Upon successful completion of all course components, students will receive a First Responder certification card valid for three years. This course does not certify the student for registration with State or local government organizations as a “First Responder”.
