
Approximately a 3 hour course designed to instruct students in the necessary steps to save a pet’s life during an emergency or to minimize a pet’s trauma after an injury. Techniques for CPR, rescue breathing, choking relief, bandaging and proper restraint for dogs and cats are covered. Also addressed are common illnesses and other problems a pet may experience. (Most techniques may be adapted to many other types of pets.) Upon successful completion of the course, students can receive a Certificate of Completion valid for two years.
