Working Together to Save Lives
Rescue One Training for Life + Compress & Shock: A Life-Saving Collaboration
Rescue One Training for Life is proud to partner with Compress & Shock Foundation in a powerful mission to make communities safer and more prepared. Together, we’re working to expand access to Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in underserved, high-need, and community-focused organizations.
As part of this collaboration, Rescue One is working with the Compress and Shock Foundation to provide AEDs to select nonprofits, schools, youth programs, faith-based institutions, and community organizations identified through the outreach efforts of Compress & Shock.
Upcoming Classes
Join one of our upcoming CPR & AED Awareness Classes designed to empower you with the confidence to act in an emergency. These sessions are perfect for community members, parents, coaches, and volunteers.
Please note: These are non-certification classes focused on awareness and hands-on practice.
AED Recipients
These AEDs were placed in communities in need through a joint effort by Compress and Shock & Rescue One.
We’ve already equipped several community-focused organizations with lifesaving AEDs — and their impact is already being felt.
2025 National CPR/AED Education Day
June 7th, 2025 is Compress and Shock’s 9th Annual CPR/AED Education Day! Join us in learning how YOU can save a life!
Host an AED/CPR Class
Our training model includes an AED access program for communities that align with our mission statement. If that learner group has 35+ people attend the training, that community will receive a FREE grant-funded AED.
How to Receive a Donated AED + Training & Support
The Compress and Shock Foundation, in partnership with Rescue One, places AEDs in underserved communities and those communities most adversely affected by cardiac arrest due to race, ethnicity, primary language, or access to healthcare education. Eligible host sites also receive life-saving training and a full year of maintenance and support to ensure the AED remains rescue-ready.
If your organization serves a community in need and you’re interested in becoming a recipient, we encourage you to explore the step-by-step process.
